Many stakeholders develop, operate, or maintain ITS elements in the Maui region. The ITS Architecture inventory is an alphabetical listing of the stakeholder ITS elements. Each ITS element is hotlinked to a page with specific details for that ITS element.

Event Generators Local bodies that promote events. This could include the Maui Fair Alliance or event promoters during Halloween.
GoAkamai GoAkamai is a free web service that consolidates regional transportation information into a one-stop resource. GoAkamai is currently disseminating real-time traffic information to Oahu travelers and may be extended to Kauai, Maui or Hawaii Counties.
Hawaii State EOC Represents the State Emergency Operations Center operated by the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HIEMA).
HDOT, Highways Division, Traffic Safety Represents the Traffic Safety Section of HDOT Highways Traffic Branch. The Traffic Safety Section collects crash data from regional public safety providers.
HDOT-AIR-M Command Center Represents the command center for HDOT Airports - Maui District.
HDOT-AIR-M Field Devices Represents field devices owned by HDOT Airports Maui District.
HDOT-AIR-M Infrastructure Monitoring Equipment Represents infrastructure monitoring equipment, such as cameras and sensors, owned and operated by HDOT Airports - Maui District.
HDOT-AIR-M Parking System Represents a future parking system operating at HDOT Airports - Maui District facilities. This could be a private contractor hired to operate a parking information system, or one operated by HDOT.
HDOT-HAR-M Infrastructure Monitoring Equipment Represents infrastructure monitoring equipment, such as cameras or sensors, owned and operated by HDOT Harbors - Maui District.

Maui IT Services Event Management System The Maui County IT Services Event Management System monitors and maintains communications for the County of Maui. The goal of the Event Management System is to monitor County of Maui communications networks and information systems and to predict impending failures.
Maui Memorial Medical Center Represents the hospital on Maui.
Maui Police Departmental Operations Center Represents the departmental operations center for County of Maui Police.
Maui Police Vehicles Represents County of Maui Police vehicles.
Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau The Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau provides coordination and information about travelers in the case of a disaster.
Media Represents media outlets in Maui.
National Weather Service The National Weather Service (NWS) provides weather information.
Pacific Disaster Center The Pacific Disaster Center (PDC) uses information, science, and technology to enable effective evidence-based decision making and to promote disaster risk reduction concepts and strategies. The Center provides multi-hazard warning and decision support tools to facilitate informed decision making and critical information sharing, supporting appropriate and effective actions.
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issues warnings and alerts about potential tsunamis.
Private Personal Computing Devices Represents personal computing devices, such as smartphones.
Private Traveler Information Services Represents private sector traveler information systems, such as Google.
Red Cross The Red Cross provides disaster relief, including shelter management.
 

The Hawaiian language uses two diacritical markings. The 'okina is a glottal stop; and the kahako is a macron. The State of Hawaii strongly encourages the use of Hawaiian diacritical markings. The National ITS Architecture tool, Turbo Architecture, does not allow for the Hawaiian diacritical markings to be input and as such, customized service package diagrams, operational concepts and other outputs from Turbo are unable to reflect the diacritical markings. To ensure consistency in this ITS Architecture website, no Hawaiian diacritical markings will be used.
